The Idea

Our vision for this music festival was to create an event that not only brought together a diverse range of artists but also offered a one-of-a-kind, immersive experience for both the audience and the performers. We wanted to break away from the traditional festival format and inject a sense of fun, creativity, and unpredictability into the atmosphere. One of the core ideas that shaped the festival was to craft a visually dynamic space, where the stage design, lighting, and visuals would work in harmony with the music to create a memorable experience. At the center of this idea was our quirky yet iconic DJ booth—crafted from a washing machine—which would become a focal point of the festival’s unique vibe.

The Process

This edition's theme was 'Boiler Room,' so we took it to the next level by hosting the entire festival inside an actual boiler room, perfectly aligning with the theme's underground vibe. Our custom-designed poster showcased the festival lineup, featuring Manny, one of the central characters of the event.

Bringing the festival to life required a lot of creative problem-solving, from designing the unconventional washing machine DJ booth to integrating a system of synchronized visuals and lighting. First, we repurposed a real washing machine to build the DJ booth, adding a playful element that instantly set the festival apart from others. This quirky design became a symbol of the event’s creative spirit.

We then focused on creating audio-reactive visuals that would be projected on a screen inside the washing machine, synchronized with the beats and melodies of each set. These visuals responded dynamically to the music, creating an evolving light show that added depth and energy to each performance. To ensure everything worked together seamlessly, we designed the lighting system to interact with both the visuals and the music, allowing each set to have its own unique aesthetic and feel. The result was an immersive, multisensory experience where no two performances felt the same.

Additionally, we took care of the poster design and visual branding for the event, ensuring that the festival’s playful and creative identity was clear from the very first announcement. We also handled the logistics of inviting artists, coordinating live performances from acts like Dátil, Algomástranqui, PANP, LostBoys, and CuackWoof, ensuring a diverse lineup that would appeal to a wide audience.

The Finished Product

The festival was a dynamic, unforgettable experience for both the live audience and those tuning in online. The washing machine DJ booth became an iconic part of the event, capturing the festival's quirky, playful energy. The combination of audio-reactive visuals and synchronized lighting transformed each performance into a unique visual and auditory experience, keeping the crowd engaged and immersed throughout the entire event.

Our decision to livestream the sets on YouTube and share recaps on social media allowed us to extend the festival’s reach beyond the venue, ensuring that people who couldn’t attend in person could still enjoy the experience. The festival garnered positive reactions from attendees, performers, and online viewers alike, becoming a memorable highlight for everyone involved. The playful and immersive design of the event, paired with a diverse range of performances, ensured that this festival was much more than just a concert—it was a celebration of creativity, music, and visual art.
