VELO
Date: January 2025

The Idea

For this project, we collaborated with Inmersys, a digital agency that brought us on board to work directly with VELO. The goal was to promote VELO’s product through a Fake Out-of-Home (FOOH) piece created specifically for CORE, a music festival produced by Tomorrowland and hosted in a lush natural park in Colombia.

The brand wanted VELO to feel like a natural part of the event—not just a sponsor, but a seamless element within the atmosphere and vibe of CORE. To achieve this, the campaign centered around integrating VELO’s presence into the Colombian landscape, blending real-world nature footage with 3D visual elements that reflected the bold, immersive spirit of both the festival and the product.

The final video was shared across VELO social media platforms, creating buzz ahead of the event.

The Process

To integrate VELO naturally into the environment of the event, we traveled to Colombia and shot on location at the Jardín Botánico de Medellín, the official venue for CORE by Tomorrowland. Our goal was to capture immersive, cinematic footage that evoked the feeling of being deep in the jungle—providing the perfect canvas to blend in VELO’s product through CGI.

We modeled and textured VELO’s signature can and pouches, designing animated elements that visually echoed the festival’s energy: a rave in the heart of nature. The 3D assets were carefully composited into the footage, with added lighting and effects that reinforced the contrast between the serenity of the natural landscape and the pulse of electronic music culture.

The shoot presented some unique challenges—working in a public park with constant foot traffic and unpredictable weather made production logistics tricky. But these constraints also pushed us creatively, and ultimately became part of what made the project so rewarding to execute.
