SIN TESIS STUDIO

The Idea

Our collaboration with SIN TESIS, a creative studio specializing in design, branding, and art direction, was one of our favorite projects to date. The challenge was to create the landing page video for their new website, a task that required us to not only showcase their aesthetic but also capture the philosophy behind their brand. SIN TESIS, founded in 2022 by Jessica Mendirichaga and Cristóbal Ayala, prides itself on being "without a central thesis or style," focusing on creating functional, innovative, and timeless projects that push boundaries.

From the very first meeting with their team, we knew that a close, collaborative process would be key. We spent time getting to know their vision, learning that SIN TESIS is about embracing flexibility and fluidity in design—a creative playground where art and function meet. With that in mind, we brainstormed several concepts and decided to produce a video that would reflect their ability to merge different creative techniques into a cohesive, meaningful whole.



TheProcess

Once we had a clear understanding of SIN TESIS' vision, we sketched out a storyboard to brainstorm ideas for the video. We wanted the video to reflect their ability to work across multiple mediums and highlight their signature approach of blending art and design into a seamless, creative experience.

The result was a five-part video where each section represented a different medium and technique. At the core of the video, we centered on SIN TESIS' logo—a simple square—using it as the anchor point throughout each transition to maintain cohesion. The goal was to make the video feel crafted with intention and concept, while also pushing creative boundaries.


  1. Part One: 3D Risography Emulation – We began with a 3D section that emulated the textured, grainy effect of risography printing. The idea was to blend the tactile quality of print with the digital realm, paying homage to timeless, handcrafted design techniques.
  2. Part Two: Motion Graphics and Frame-by-Frame Animation – The second section focused on motion graphics, where we animate frame-by-frame Easter eggs and meaningful elements that represent important aspects of SIN TESIS' creative process. This playful animation mirrored the thoughtful yet inventive nature of the studio.
  3. Part Three: AI Transition – To explore more cutting-edge possibilities, we integrated AI-generated elements for a smooth transition between the second and fourth parts. This section captured SIN TESIS' future-forward thinking and willingness to embrace new technologies.
  4. Part Four: Mixed Media Rotoscoping and Footage – For this segment, we combined rotoscoping with real footage to create a hybrid of media, symbolizing the fusion of real-world and digital experiences. This reflected SIN TESIS' ability to move between the physical and digital worlds effortlessly.
  5. Part Five: Code and Graphic Design – The final section was a blend of graphic design and code-based visuals, representing the intersection of technology and design, where clean, conceptual elements meet structured creativity. The video looped seamlessly, reflecting the constant evolution and fluidity of SIN TESIS' creative practice.




After completing the video, we were thrilled with the result and the collaborative experience. We decided to take the project further by creating three collaborative reels for Instagram to showcase both the process and the final result.
  • Reel One: Announcing the Collaboration – For the first reel, we wanted to make an impact by using a kinestasis technique—mixing animation with still images. We animated our studio’s logo interacting with SIN TESIS' logo, then curated 60 still images to blend seamlessly with the animation, creating a visually dynamic loop.
  • Reel Two: The Making Of – The second reel focused on giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process, from initial sketches and brainstorming sessions to the final 3D modeling, animation, and post-production work. This reel allowed us to show the effort and creativity behind the project.
  • Reel Three: The Final Product – The final reel presented the finished landing page video in all its glory, giving the audience a glimpse of the finished product and showcasing the successful collaboration between our studio and SIN TESIS.

The collaboration was a resounding success, resulting in a landing page video that perfectly encapsulates the ethos of SIN TESIS—a creative studio that thrives on flexibility, innovation, and timeless design. The mix of 3D, motion graphics, AI, rotoscoping, and graphic design gave the video depth and variety while maintaining a cohesive narrative that felt intentional and concept-driven.

The Instagram reels further solidified the collaboration’s impact, engaging followers with both the creative process and the polished result. The use of kinestasis in the first reel grabbed attention, while the behind-the-scenes content offered insight into our collaboration, and the final reel showcased the finished product in a dynamic and professional light.

This project exemplified how close collaboration, attention to detail, and a willingness to experiment can lead to work that is both visually captivating and meaningful.
